Backsliding

10 Aug

A few weeks ago, I hit my 10 percent body weight lost goal. Go me!

Ever since then it’s been no steps forward, many steps back.

When I weighed in at last week’s meeting, I was up 3.2 pounds, completely negating the progress I made (this was after missing about three meetings due to work travel and meetings not being scheduled). Since then, I’ve not been able to mentally get back on track.

Coupled with the news that I have lost my trainer until October while she redoes the house she bought, I worry that I’m not going to be able to get back in a groove and continue losing weight.

Unfortunately this is a quick post, since it’s hot and I’m going to bed, but I wanted to get these thoughts I’ve been having out on”paper,” as it were, so maybe in some way that will enable me to remove them from my mind and get my ass back in gear.
